Happy Father’s Day to all the Movie Star Dads, past, present, and future. Here is a gallery of dear old Dads who bought the acting lessons, attended the plays, and ran lines when they would have rather been just running.
Movie Star Dads are a humble lot. Many of them have been out-earned by their prestigious offspring, but they still show up for a quick shot on the red carpet, no hard feelings. Some of the Dads were movie stars themselves, giving their kid’s the tag they never lose, “oh, that is the son of so-and-so.” Regardless, there is a lot of pride out there. All the fretting, the endless hints to get a degree or at least take the civil service exam have been forgotten.
Now it’s out of the house and off to Hollywood! Lights, action, Papa!
